A historical look at the land that serves as Quintero’s pallet will show the wild days of prospecting through a series of mining claims in and around the Hieroglyphic Mountains spanning from gentle to elevated desert terrain. This is then surrounded by Federal land and provides the secluded hideaway that is Quintero with endless desert and mountain range views in every direction.

The Course Designer is Rees Jones, known as the "US Open doctor" for his renovations on several US Open golf courses. Mr. Jones is also a designer of numerous Top 100 Courses, including Quintero.
